The Top Ten Essentials are well known in the camping and backpacking world. This workshop takes the top ten essentials and highlights the value they have to save a life here on earth and transform a life for eternity. Similar to Jesus, this workshop uses a human need to teach a spiritual truth. Here are a few examples. 1. Navigation: In the wild, we need a map. Spiritually, we need God’s Word (Jer. 6:16, Ps. 119:105). 2. Water: In the wild we need to have purified water. Spiritually, we need living water from the Lord to quench our spiritual thirst. (Psalm 42:1, John 4:14 & John 7:38).
