Homeschool First Steps - June 22, 2024, 9:00 am-noon
This workshop is designed to help any new homeschool family get started educating their children at home.  The Kansas Home Educators can help prepare you for a great school year.  This workshop covers Kansas regulations for homeschools, lesson planning, classroom tips and tricks, learning styles, multi-level teaching, littles in the classroom, prizes, and much more!  The workshop is held at Friends University, Marriage & Family Therapy Building Room 101, 2100 W University Ave, Wichita, KS 67213. Registration is $20 for attendee and spouse is free.

High School Success at Home -June 22, 2024, 1:00 pm-4:00 pm.
This workshop will help you plan for the most challenging and rewarding time with your student!  Homeschooling high school takes planning and preparation, but you and your student will enjoy the flexibility and educational options for these four years. This workshop covers high school planning, how to determine credit hours, dual credit options, preparing a transcript, navigating college admissions and much more! The High School Success at Home workshop is held at Friends University, Marriage & Family Therapy Building Room 101, 2100 W University Ave, Wichita, KS 67213.
