KSHE along with Friends University is offering an informative workshop for homeschool high school families who are searching for answers for college funding options. The FAFSA form (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) allows students to access grants, scholarships, work-study programs, and federal student loans, helping cover tuition, fees, and other education-related expenses. The FAFSA form can be a daunting process but this workshop will help you know what to expect, what information you will need to complete the form, and submission dates.

Families will hear directly from Friends University staff as we walk through the FAFSA process, explain what happens after submission—including how financial aid decisions are made and what options may be available.

  • 7:15 p – FAFSA Demonstration

  • 7:30 p – I’ve completed the FAFSA… what comes next?

  • 7:45 p – Understanding Professional Judgment
